DEMOPOLIS &8212; Junior Ed Foster, 63, of Demopolis died Feb. 18, 2008, at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Christian Chapel Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Fred Moore officiated. Interment with Full Military Honors followed at Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
Foster was the son of the late Vember and Ardelia &8220;Sister&8221; Mitchell.
He attended U.S. Jones High School, retired from the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War and also retired from Chrysler Corporation in Detroit.
Survivors include his three children, Mary Ann Hill and husband, Bob, of Demopolis, Vember Collins of Forkland and Artisha Moore and husband, the Rev. Jerrell, of Birmingham; two stepchildren, Abbie Collins Mays of Detroit and John Collins of Forkland; nine grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Coleman and wife, Ethelrine, of Forkland; one uncle, James Mitchell, of Demopolis; one aunt-in-law, Alberta Mitchell; a friend, David Ash and wife, Ann, of Demopolis and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
