DHS tennis keeps hot streak going

DEMOPOLIS &8212; Tiger tennis added two more victories this week with wins over Hillcrest and Tuscaloosa County. Tuesday&8217;s road match against Hillcrest produced an 8-6 win for Demopolis while Wednesday&8217;s home contest saw the Tigers defeat Tuscaloosa County 15-3.
The Tiger girls anchored the team at Hillcrest, winning all six of their singles matches.
A more balanced effort told the tale against TCHS as the boys won all nine of their seeded singles and double matches while their female teammates took six of nine seeded competitions.
The team will finish regular season play Saturday when it hosts West Lauderdale at 10 a.m. The team will travel to Walker High in Jasper Tuesday to compete in sectionals.
