EUTAW &8212; Sallie Purse Ishman, 84, of Eutaw, died April 8, 2008, at Jacksonville Medical Center in Jacksonville. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2008, at the Mount Zoar Baptist Church in Boligee. The Rev. Joe Webb officiated. The Rev. Arthur Coleman is the pastor. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Ishman-Allen, of Oxford, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
