DEMOPOLIS &8212; Funeral services for Betty Jackson Wilson, 56, of Demopolis, were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Chalk Level A.M.E. Zion Church in Myrtlewood. The Rev. Charles Cartell officiated.

Interment followed in Sand Hill Cemetery in Myrtlewood. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis directed the services.

Wilson died on May 31, 2008, at D.C.H. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Her father, Fredrick Jackson Sr.; a brother, Frank Jackson and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

She is survived by her mother, Alice Jackson, of Demopolis; three children, Tommy, Stacey and Thomas Wilson, all of Demopolis; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mary, Margie and Linda Jackson, of Demopolis; six brothers, Arthur, Jim, and Freddie Jackson of Demopolis, B.R. Jackson and wife, Ethel, of Warner Robins, Ga., and Jerry and Johnny Jackson, of Chicago and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
