FORKLAND &8212; Ada Simmons Williams, 86, of Forkland, died June 10, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Birdine A.M.E. Zion Church in Forkland. The Rev. Gregory Morris officiated. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Williams Sr. and wife, Inda, of Forkland and Carl Williams and wife, Nekissta, of Norcross, Ga.; a sister, Lily Rose Johnson, of Chicago; two sisters-in-law, Alfredia Simmons, of Bangor, Mich. and Emma Simmons, of Forkland; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
