DOLLARHIDE &8212; Oscar &8220;Pete&8221; Jackson, 62, of the Dollarhide Community in Boligee, died June 9, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2008, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Boligee. The Rev. Napoleon Jackson officiated. Interment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery in Boligee. Larkin&Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jackson, of Laurinburg, N.C; one son, Eddie Jackson, of Bronx, N.Y; two sisters, Evangelist Annie M. Jackson, of Boligee and Ethel Ross, and husband, Lawrence, of Boligee; one brother, Raymond Jackson, of Marietta, Ga.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Johnnie Jackson, of Boligee and Helen Jackson of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; one special brother-in-law, Lawrence Ross, of Boligee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
