BELFAST, Tenn. &8212; Mike Civils, 53, of Belfast, Tenn. died Tuesday, June 24, 2008, in Marshall Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Round Hill Cemetery. The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m., Wednesday and until the funeral hour for visitation on Thursday. Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Civils was a native of Indianapolis, Ind. and son of the late Jim Civils and Corinne Colley Civils of Indianapolis. He was the owner and horse trainer for Civils Stables.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Coffey Civils; son, Jimmy Civils, both of Belfast, Tenn.; sister, Maryanne Miller, and husband, Bob, of Fairland, Ind., and niece, Tammy Carter, and husband, Richard, of Cocomo, Ind.
