Welcome to the new online home of The Demopolis Times. We at the paper are all pretty excited about this change. As with anything completely new, we’ll have some hiccups to start, I’m sure. Not even huge companies are exempt from this — look at Apple’s new iPhone debacle. But all of the tabs are working as of 7:19 p.m. on Sunday, three hours before we go live on the site.

One of the best parts of this site is how content-rich it will be. Mad props to Marlin Caddell, who has worked his tail off to make this change happen as smoothly as possible. Marlin also fields 9 a.m. Sunday morning phone calls from editors who don’t know what they’re doing. So put his name down as a future saint.
