Patsy Sumrall

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Patsy Patterson Sumrall died June 28, 2008, in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Sumrall was born June 20, 1936, to S.J. “Pat” Patterson and Lucille White Patterson in Lake City, Miss. She moved with her husband, Jack Sumrall, to Nacogdoches from Thomaston, to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She served on the Pineywoods RC&D and briefly on the Board for Adult Living. In Thomaston she served as the Mayor for four terms, served on the Alabama State Bar Disciplinary Board and Alabama RC&D.
Sumrall was preceded in death by her parents, son Bradley Sumrall and brothers; S.J. Patterson, Patrick Patterson.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Sumrall; son, Jack and wife, Lea Sumrall and children of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Becky and husband, David Neuenschwander, and children of Geneva, Illinois; and Sheila and husband, Mitchell Crocker and children of Nacogdoches; brothers, Jimmy, James, Troy and Floyd Patterson; sisters, Juanita, Vonnie, Mildred, Beverly and Rachel.
