Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce I would like to thank everyone who came out to the 2008 Freedom on the River festivities! We had a great event this year-despite the rain-and it would not have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors and volunteers.

I would like to thank Alabama Power, BankTrust, Cemex, Collins Communications, Foster Farms, New Era Cap Co., Plaza Golf Carts, Robertson Banking Company, Rock Tenn, Southern Tank Leasing, Unicel and the Demopolis Civitan Club for donating of their time and resources to make this event a special one — year after year.

We are so lucky to be part of a community where the business contribute so generously to the quality of life and continue to make this area a great place to live, work and play!
