Snow rejoins emTimes/em staff

David Snow has joined the staff of The Demopolis Times as news editor.

Snow, a 1992 graduate of Murray State University, is a former resident of Demopolis and a staff writer for the Times. He attended Demopolis High School until 1980 and is active on the DHS Class of ’81 reunion committee.

“I am glad to be back in my hometown among friends and family,” he said. “I’m happy that I can be part of The Demopolis Times and part of the community.”

Snow returns to the Times after spending the past 10 years in sports information at Murray State University in Kentucky. Snow holds a degree in Journalism from Murray State and is a former editor of a weekly newspaper in Tennessee.

“I’m pleased to be able to bring David back home and back into our newsroom,” Times publisher Jason Cannon said. “I believe David will be a great asset to the community and it’s community newspaper.”

Snow is the son of Ken Snow, of Demopolis, and the late Anne Snow and the grandson of Louise Leet, of Demopolis. He is married to the formerShelia Langston of Graves County, Ky.
