The Demopolis Police Dept. made what DPD Chief Tim Williams called “a very good bust” yesterday, discovering a large amount of cocaine and crack at a 7th Street address.
DPD executed a search warrant at 1:30 p.m. and arrested Cory Davis on the charges of trafficking in cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
“This was a very good bust,” Williams said. “We found a large amount of dope.
“It’s not often we charge someone with trafficking. I was pleased with our officers and the work they did in this arrest. They did a fine job.”
Davis was held in the Marengo County Jail.
