Daisy Belle Guinn Cannon, age 93, a homemaker of Linden, passed away Wednesday, September 3 at her son’s home in Linden. She was born January 13 1915 in Linden. She was a long time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and the Mary/Martha Sunday School Class. Funeral Services were held at Bethlehem Baptist church on Friday, September 05 at 11a.m. with Rev. Daniel Grandy officiating. Burial was at Thomas Cemetery, in Thomaston. She is survived by her son, Herbert E. Cannon, Jr., of Linden, her four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Aubrey Cannon, Chad Cannon, Walter Cannon, Royce Schroeder, Jimmy Tate, and Buddy Vick. Alternates pallbearers were Danny Schroeder and Larry Schroeder. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden, Al., was directing.
