Sweet Water fined, keeps wins
In a season that hasn’t seen a lot of close calls, Sweet Water just came out on top of their first one.
In a ruling handed down Friday morning, Sweet Water High School was fined $250 and placed on probation for the next 12 months for using a player who had yet to complete the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s on-line sportsmanship class.
Originally, school officials feared the school would be stripped of their four wins this season.
