Staff Sgt. Lewis Franklin, Jr., age 88 of Gallion, Alabama passed October 24, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, Tuskegee, Alabama. Funeral Services with Full Military Rites will be held Friday, October 31, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Gallion, Alabama. Rev. Hezekiah Young will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The remains will repose at the church on Friday beginning at 11:00 A.M. Public viewing will be held Thursday from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
