Marcus Austin Plummer, 16, of Greensboro, went to be with his Lord Dec. 23. Austin was born Dec. 21, 1992 in Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include his mother, Robin C. Plummer, of Tuscaloosa; father, Mark Plummer, of Greensboro; sister, Ashley Plummer, of Greensboro; brother, Drake Plummer, of Greensboro; paternal grandfather, Marcus Plummer, of Greensboro; maternal grandparents, Robert Collins (Lynn) of Gallion and Charles Smith (Doris) of Thomaston.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 26 at 11 a.m. at Greensboro Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The Reverends Dee McGuire, Steve Vernon and Bill Aultman will officiate and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel will direct.
Honorary pallbearers will be the football teams from Greensboro West High School and Southern Academy and the graduating class of 2011.
