Lenson Montz, 69, of Greensboro, passed away Dec. 24 at Hospice of West Alabama after a brief illness.
Graveside services will were held at Oakwood Cemetery Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. with Braz Barnette officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. Visitation was held at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Lenson was preceded in death by his son, Aubrey Jay Montz, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Montz, and brother, Dotson Montz.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann Morrison Montz; daughter, Anna Lynn Montz; grandchildren, Daniel Joseph Coley, Cynthia Ann Coley and Mary Ruth Coley, all of Greensboro. He is also survived by his brother, Dathan Montz (Fredia), of Greensboro; sisters, Jessie Dean Williams, of Greensboro and Ellen Webb (Jimmy), of Pensacola.
