Dana Cecil Ray Yelverton, age 39, of Gallion passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14. 2009, at her home.
She was born on Jan. 21, 1969, in Demopolis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at Providence Baptist Church on Friday, Jan. 16, from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service time. Burial will be at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery is Gallion. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden directing.
She is survived by her husband, John “Kip” Yelverton of Gallion; her parents, Jerry C. Ray and Brenda G. Ray of Gallion; a son, Thomas Dakota Yelverton of Gallion; two daughters, Laura Bethany Lamb and Amanda Jo Lamb, both of Sommerville; a sister, Marsha Ray (Robbie) Vogel of Montgomery; a grandchild, Aidyn Lamb of Sommerville; two brothers-in-law, Melvin (Terry) Yelverton of Demopolis and Willy (Wanda) Yelverton of Hazel Green; two sisters-in-law, Janet (Jimmy) Marlowe of Gallion and Cile (Ray) McCarter of Forkland; and two nieces, Rachel Vogel and Morgan Vogel, both of Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Kipling Yelverton Jr.
