Opal Branham, age 89, of Linden passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at her home.
She was a native of Louisa, Ky., and a homemaker.
Visitation will be on Monday, Jan. 19, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Webb Noonan Funeral Home in Hamilton, Ohio, with the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jacob S. Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hamilton. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is in charge of local arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Berry Hite and Garfield Hite; her husband, Jack E. Branhan; a brother, Garfield Hite Jr.; and three sisters, Iva Preston, Neval Jones and Beulah Hall.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Jean Branham Fultz of Linden; two sons, Thomas Branham of Hamilton, Ohio, and Greg (Roseann) Branham of Trenton, Ohio; a sister, Grace Birkholz of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
