Ella Forrester

Ella Louise Lawless Forrester, age 84, of Greensboro passed away on Feb. 5, 2009, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
She was born on April 9, 1924, in Birmingham to the late Gayle and Dora B. Spencer Lawless. She was a self-employed accountant for many years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at Greensboro First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service at the church. Burial will be on Monday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, with Bro. Micah Gandy officiating. Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel is directing the services.
Active pallbearers will be Jeff Wine, Jeffrey Wise, Andrew Wise, Travis Wilson, Willard Powe and Adam Forrester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Harold Forrester; a son, George Ahaz Forrester; and a sister, Frances Elizabeth Jones.
She is survived by her three daughters, Katherine Chaney of Birmingham, Kameron (Jeff) Wise of Birmingham and Keisha (Travis) Wilson of Browns; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
