Mr. Braxton Worthy Sr., age 84, of Demopolis passed on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at noon at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis. Minister C.L. Franklin is the pastor; minister Mitchell Congress will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
