Funeral services for Mr. Braxton Worthy Sr. of Demopolis were held Thursday, Feb. 12, at noon at New Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis.
Minister C.L. Franklin is the pastor, and minister Mitchell Congress officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.
He was survived by one daughter, Florine A. Worthy of Demopolis; two sons, Braxton Worthy Jr. of Demopolis and Allen (Nicole) Worthy of Meridian, Miss.; one grandchild, Meredith Alana Worthy of Meridian, Miss.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
