CANOE, Ala. – The Marengo Academy Longhorns (14-0) continued their unbeated streak by outscoring Escambia Academy 26-1 in two games Tuesday afternoon.

Marengo 15, 11 Escambia O, 1 played in Canoe, Al.

The Lady ‘Horns ripped Escambia 15-0 in the first game. Michelle Pritchett (10-0) struck out 11 and gave up one hit in five innings. Destiny Huckabee had a three run homer and a single. Abbey Huckabee had one double and one single for two RBI’s, Amber Walker two doubles, Shelby Mathis and Michelle Pritchett both had two singles.

The second game was more of the same, with the Lady Longhorns coming out on top 11-1.

Jessica Brock (4-0) struck out 10, walked two gave up four hits and one run. Chelsea Etheridge had a three run homer and a double, Michelle Pritchett was 4-for-4, Anna Edmonds 2-for-2 wiith one double and Brock had one double and one single.

Marengo Academy will play Meadowview in Linden on Friday.
