Memorial services for Mr. Roy Emberg will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel.
Roy Emberg, age 63, a former employee of Burlington-Northern Railroad, passed away April 10, 2009 at his home in Demopolis, Alabama. Mr Emberg began his long dedicated career with the railroad at the age of 18 in Memphis, Tn. In 1981 he moved to Oklahoma City as Roadmaster for 18 years before returning to his home state of Alabama where he retired.
Mr. Emberg leaves his wife of 28 years, Amy Kathleen Duncan-Emberg, four daughters, Jessica Emberg of Demopolis, Al,
Melanie Emberg of Brentwood,,TN., Jennifer Ray of Jonesboro, AR, and Stephanie Myers of Paragould, AR, three grandsons, Dalton Emberg, Laden Conley and Braxton Ray, many other greatly loved family members.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends who were blessed to have known Him throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Humane Society, 63 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO 80112.
