Linden’s ChiLLy Fest is teetering on the brink of statewide fame, and a little local feedback could be just the thing to tip the scales.
City employee Bruce Ward said the event has been listed on the travel portion of the State of Alabama’s Web site, and event-goers can leave their feedback about the event on the site.
The listing, which is provided by the state, and the feedback can be used by those who have never attended to gauge their interest in the event.
“We see there are a few things we would like to have changed, and there is more that could be added after looking at others,” Ward said.
“I am not sure what the state does with the reviews, but it doesn’t hurt to have good reviews.”
Visitors to the site can also rate the event on a scale of 1 to 5. As of Monday, the event was rated 3-1/2 stars by three voters.
The page also serves as the calendar listing for the event, which has been scheduled for Dec. 11-12 this year.
