William LaFayette Utsey, age 69, of Butler died on July 18, 2009, in Birmingham.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1939.
Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church in Butler on Monday, July 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., and prior to the funeral on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. The funeral will be at the First United Methodist Church in Butler on Tuesday, July 21, at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at the Gilbertown Cemetery in Gilbertown. Phillips Funeral Home Inc. of Gilbertown is directing the services.
