Elizabeth Spidle McCormick, age 95, of Tuscaloosa passed away on July 29, 2009, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Belmont and a member of Belmont Baptist Church. She was a retired self-employed real estate agent.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at the Old Belmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Belmont Cemetery. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lyle McCormick; a sister, Frances S. Hale; and three brothers, John Spidle, Dan Spidle and Jimmy Spidle.
She is survived by a brother, Ted Spidle of Belmont; eight nieces; and one nephew.
Pallbearers are Allen Gandy, Dewayne Gandy, Wade Gandy Jr., Ross Bibb, Steve Spidle and Al garrett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ms. McCormick’s name to the Old Belmont Church, County Road 23, Livingston, AL 35470.
