Dr. Norbert Perret Jr.

Dr. Norbert Earl Perret Jr., age 72, of Demopolis passed away on Sept. 20, 2009, at Southern Oaks Assisted Living.
He was a native of Jeanerette, La., and a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. During his working years as a doctor, he was a partner in the Fitz-Gerald-Perret Medical Clinic.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Kramer Perret, and his parents, Norbert Earl Perret Sr. and Emerite Oliver Perret.
Survivors include two daughters, Francis Kramer (Brian) Comboy of New Orleans, La., and Suzanne Perret Kneidinger of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four sons, Norbert Earl (Rita) Perret III of Demopolis, Barry Moreau (Teresa) Perret of Somerset, Ky., Frederic Paul Perret of Birmingham and Albert Levet (Lori) Perret of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Ann (Jim) Bacque of Lafayette, La.; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Celebrants will be the Rev. Larry Shinnick and the Rev. Michael Wrigley. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. A rosary service will be held at the church on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Norbert earl Perret IV, Ramon M. Perret, Mathew Perret, Mem Webb, Gus Weiss and Junior Brooker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Building Fund, 307 S. Main Ave., Demopolis, AL 36732.
