Inching closer to the dream

Dear editor, The Times,
Although a few days later than I had planned, I wanted to update you on the progress toward helping make Megan Eatmon’s wish to meet Minnie and Mickey Mouse come true.
First Bank of Linden started the ball rolling by sending a generous contribution of $100 to City Hall for Megan’s wish. Linden Baptist and Forest Hill Baptist sent their love offerings directly to Kids Wish Network, and several others have inquired and pledged their support.
Please remember that you may send your contribution to City Hall or even drop it in our night drop (in the form of a check made payable to Kids Wish Network) no later than Thursday, Oct. 15, or, at your earliestconvenience, you may send your contribution directly to this address: Melissa Bacchi, Administrative Assistant, Kids Wish Network Inc., 4060 Louis Ave., Holiday, FL 34691 or e-mail it to: melissa@kidswishnetwork.org
On behalf of the Eatmon family and Kids Wish Network, thank you for caring enough to give.
Mitzi Gates
Mayor, City of Linden
