The Town of Thomaston and the Thomaston Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will host another barbecue this Sept. 19.

“All barbecue will be sold by the pound starting at 11 a.m. at the Thomaston Department of Public Safety Building at 154 Main St. for $7.50 per pound,” said Heath McClure, fire chief for the TVFD. “This is the last chance to get some of the best barbecue in the Black Belt area until the spring of next year, so make sure to order in advance.”

Orders will be taken at the Town Hall in Thomaston by calling (334) 627-3434, extension 1.

All proceeds from the barbecue sale will benefit the Thomaston Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
