Donnie Wayne Dean, age 59, of Gallion passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at the Noland Long-Term Care Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
He was a native of Bessemer and was a member of the Baptist faith. Before becoming disabled, he worked in the heating, cooling and electrical industry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shirley “Doc” Dean.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Dean of Gallion; a son, Daniel Dean of Tuscaloosa; his mother, Louis Dean of Demopolis; two nieces, Connie Reid and Connie Weaver; and three nephews, Ronnie Jennings, Christopher Combs and Justin Combs.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home with burial in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jennings, Sonny Weaver, Tyler Morrison, Justin Combs, James Nabors and Dale Tanner.
