Linden seeks participants in civic festivals
The City of Linden is seeking participants to take part in is annual Veterans Day parade.
The parade, to be held Saturday, Nov. 7, through downtown Linden, will feature the Linden High School band, the Demopolis High School Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) and grand marshal Tom Boggs. Boggs and Marengo County district judge Wade Drinkard will address the crowd.

The City of Linden will also have a Holiday Open House on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. Businesses in Linden will welcome people throughout the afternoon, and will have sales and specials during the event.
The city is also preparing for its second annual ChiLLyFest, to be held Dec. 11 and 12. Ward said most of the events this year will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12. Information on that is coming together, and will also be available at www.lindenalabama.net.
