The South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad will host its biannual fish fry on Saturday, Nov. 7, beginning at 9 a.m. at the South Marengo Squad Hall in Coxheath across from Super T Grocery on Ala. Highway 10 at Mile Marker 36 west of Sweet Water. Plates will be sold at $7.50 each, and will include fish, hush puppies, baked beans, cole slaw and cake. Proceeds will benefit the South Marengo County Fire and Rescue Squad.
