DEMOPOLIS — The home Tigers’ second half effort was not enough to dig out of an early hole in a 24-13 loss to Thomasville (9-1, 6-1) Thursday night. Demopolis (7-3, 4-2) got second half touchdowns from Jeremy Wallace – a 19-yard run – and Larry Cobb – an 89-yard catch and dash – to cut into what had been a 24-0 lead in the third quarter.

LINDEN – The Patriots completed their second consecutive perfect regular season with a 40-0 walloping of Class 3A Aliceville Thursday night. Kendarius Fritts again anchored the Linden ground game with 149 yards and two touchdowns.
