Mary Louise “Polly” Clinton Green, age 85, of Heiberger passed away on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at her residence.
She was born on May 2, 1924, in Perry County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson Earl and Mary Anna Tubbs Clinton; her husband, Jack Green; her sister, A.V. Clinton; and two brothers, E.W. Clinton and Wayno Clinton.
Survivors include three sons, Clyde (Margie) Green, Earl Wayne Green and Tom (Ann) Green, all of Heiberger; six grandchildren, Jeff (Abbey) Green of Heiberger, Jim Green of Knoxville, Tenn., Shawna Green Turner of Marion, Whitney Green of Marion, Dusten (Jessica) Green and Kellen Green, both of Heiberger; and five great-grandchildren, Allen Green, Wheeler Green and Dixon Green, all of Heiberger, and Haley Turner and Kelsey Turner, both of Marion.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Travis Barnes and the Rev. Jimmie Boone will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Green, Jim Green, Dusten Green, Don Glass, Bill Glass and Chuck Glass.
