The Demopolis Police Station office will be closed from Tuesday, Dec. 8, to Thursday, Dec. 10, to allow personnel to move to the other side of the municipal complex.
“All of the files and computers will be transferred to the other side of the building during that time,” said DPD chief Tommie Reese. “We will open back up on Friday, Dec. 11. If anyone need to reach the police office, they should call 911.”
Renovations to the municipal complex — which will include the police station and the city court — are nearing completion. The complex is located at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Washington Street.
