Andy “Jake” Luke

Andy B. “Jake” Luke, age 88, passed away on Dec. 26, 2009.
Prior to moving to Northport, he lived in Demopolis, where he was a member of First Baptist Church. During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corps.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Luke, and a son, Andy B. Luke Jr.
A memorial service was held for him on Saturday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Baptist Church of Northport. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directed the services.
Survivors include two daughters, Olivia (Tom) Raybon of Northport and Betty (James) Parris of Berry; one sister, Billie East of Meridian, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
