Maleah Digmon kind of played really well last week.

She opened her weet by helping the Lady Longhorns rout Lowndes Academy 48-15. Digmon was nothing short of authoritative in that contest. Yeah, she put in 12 points. And yeah, she grabbed 10 rebounds. But the most impressive aspect was the way she challenged everything that got anywhere close to her. In limited minutes, the sophomore center blocked four shots.

That’s a pretty impressive feat for anybody, but Digmon did it with such a blasé demeanor that it seemed routine.

But what do you do for an encore after such a well-rounded game? That’s easy. You go out and score 19 points against Patrician Academy like it is no big deal. Then you take home Player of the Week honors. Ho-hum
