The River City Bassmasters of Demopolis will hold its first meeting of the year on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 7 p.m. at Mr. G’s restaurant.` The organization is marking its 30th year as a club.

All bass fishermen, from rookies to professional, are invited to attend the meeting.

The club plans to elect new officers, discuss and vote on club rules and policies and vote on new members.

The membership fee is $50 per year, and tournaments are $40 each. The first tournament is tentatively set for Feb. 27 or 28 at Jennings Ferry near Eutaw on the Warrior RIver. There will be 10 tournaments during the year with a fish-off at the end of the year.
