Visit with Shelby is an opportunity

Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) will join the residents of Marengo County for a county visit on Saturday, Feb. 20, at noon for a county visit.
The county visit — commonly called a town hall meeting — is open to the public and will take place at Smokin’ Jack’s Bar-B-Que in Demopolis.
Sen. Shelby will address the legislative agenda for the second session of the 111th Congress as well as important issues facing the nation and the state of Alabama. Following his remarks, He will open the floor to questions and comments from those in attendance.
This is a good time for the voting public to get a crack at a man with some serious Washington connections.
Shelby has held over 1,500 county visits since being elected to serve the state of Alabama.
