Alabama author Chemistry will be on hand at the Demopolis Public Library to sign two books recently released. The signing will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

“These are urban fiction,” she said, “like a romance-erotica book. I am excited! I’m going to be doing some giveaways and some gift baskets.”

Chemistry was born in Fort Payne and was raised in Tuscaloosa. The books she will have available for signing follow her first release, “Almost Doesn’t Count.” Her family bought some land in Sweet Water, and she has lived in this area for the last few years.
