Lodrich McKinney

Lodrich Hill McKinney, age 83, of Livingston died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 23, 1926, in Selma. He was a retired electricity generator and a member of First Baptist Church of Livingston.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Suddath McKinney of Livingston; three sons, Ronald Edwin McKinney of Livingston, George Michael McKinney of Gallion and Gary Suddath McKinney of Livingston; four sisters, Elizabeth McKinney Brown of Ariton, Clarice McKinney Etheredge of Thomaston, Pauline McKinney Griffith of Thomaston and Faye McKinney Miller of Safford; two brothers, Henry McKinney of Huntsville and Robert McKinney of Haleyville; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held at the New Octagon Cemetery in Linden on Thursday, March 18, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Matt Kelley officiating. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directed the services.
Active pallbearers were Lane Sheffield, Wayne Sheffield, Rex Sheffield, Tommy Fuller, Norvelle Loper, Jimmy Bedwell, Robert Hall and Bobby Joe Hall.
