Robert Earl Flowers, age 60, of Gallion died on Monday, April 5, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1950 in Safford. He was a foreman with Asplundh.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Flowers of Gallion; his mother, Ida (Ben) Garner of Demopolis; two sons, Robbie (Jenny) Flowers and Rex Flowers, both of Demopolis; a daughter, Rebecca (Jason) Glass of Linden; a sister, Sue (Ritchie) Stokley of Gallion; and seven grandchildren, Mary Kendall Glass, Mason Glass, Katey Glass, Ethan Glass, Kaleb Flowers, Alexis Flowers and Drennan Flowers.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden, with the Rev. Daniel Gandy officiating. Burial was at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens in Demopolis. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home of Linden directed the services.
Active pallbearers were members of the Demopolis Police Department. Honorary pallbearers included co-workers at Asplundh.
