Demopolis Middle School Principal Clarence Jackson is expected to tender his resignation to the Demopolis Board of Education as early as this week after verbally agreeing to become the next principal at Southside-Selma last night. The Dallas County Board of Education voted unanimously to offer the position to Jackson.
At Southside, Jackson is expected to replace Luke Taylor III who was named principal at John Essex School two weeks ago.
