Sometime Saturday night, the Parr’s Chevron West (formerly known as Pruitt’s) was broken into and burglarized. An undisclosed number of items had been taken.

Demopolis police officers responded to a call at 7:10 a.m. Sunday from Parr’s.

Demopolis police chief Tommie Reese said that someone cut the lock on the door and gained entrance to the building. He added that there were no suspects thus far, and that the investigation was ongoing.
