Lloyd McKee Hooper III, age 79, passed away on July 9, 2010, at his home in Montgomery.
He served in the United States Air Force as a control tower operator. He was discharged and went on to work for Momar Inc. as a chemical sales representative for more than 25 years.
He was preceded in death by Lloyd M. Hooper Sr., Lloyd M. Hooper Jr. and Elizabeth Bibb Anderson Hooper.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Anna M. Hooper; one daughter, Elizabeth (Chris) Etheridge of Demopolis; a granddaughter, Haley Etheridge; and a step-granddaughter Kristin Etheridge.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 11, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with pastor Chip Broadfoot of The Episcopal Church of the Ascension officiating. Southern Memorial Funeral Home of Montgomery is directing the services.
The family wishes to give special thanks to his caregiver, Mollie Gardner, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice Care of Montgomery.
