Gayle Smith Ulmer, 61, of Mexia died Tuesday, Nov. 23 at her residence. She was a native of Bibb County and had resided in Mexia most of her life. She had worked as an office manager at the Monroeville Golf Cart office.
She is survived by her husband Buddy Ulmer of Mexia, one son Samuel (Heather) Ulmer, Germany, one brother William Dale (Joy) Smith of Demopolis, one niece Erica Gulley of Demopolis, three grandchildren Victoria Jade, Savannah Raye and Oliver Samuel Ulmer. Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Wayne McMillan officiating.
