James C. “Jimbo” Yelverton, Jr.
James C. “Jimbo” Yelverton, Jr., 36, of Demopolis, passed away Nov. 30.
Services will be held Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis with Dr. Art L. Luckie officiating. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. before the service.
Survivors include his wife, Lindsay Hansard Yelverton, of Daphne; daughter, Peyton MacKenzie Yelverton; son, James Hunter Yelverton; father, James C. “Jimmy” Yelverton, of Demopolis; mother, Dianne Hall (Harold) Biggs, of Linden; sisters, Rachel Yelverton, of Louisiana, Brittany Yelverton (Chris) Crocker, of Forkland, Nicole Minninger, Kylie Minninger Smyly and Anna Coleman Yelverton, all of Demopolis; brother, Jonathan Lewis, of Demopolis; Father-in-law, Fred (Kim) Hansard, of Demopolis; mother-in-law, Deidra Snipes; grandmother, Glyna Faye Hall; step-mother, Sherry Yelverton Carter; step-mother-in-law, Cindy (Paul) Malone, of Demopolis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen Gibbs Yelverton and James Lafey Yelverton and Kenneth Hall.
In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up at BankTrust branches for the children of Jimbo Yelverton.
