YORK – Emergency crews are responding to reports of a multi-vehicle accident near Interstate 20 Exit 8 in Sumter County.

Reports indicate there has been at least one fatality but the Times has not yet been able to confirm that with Alabama State Troopers. The accident occurred just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
