James Ernest Tuck Jr., 66, died Saturday, Jan. 22 at Druid City Hospital.

Preceding his death was his father James Ernest Tuck on July 14, 1976 and his mother Sarah Smith Tuck on March 19, 1986.

James, known by most as Jimmy, graduated from Greene County High School and later graduated from Auburn University with his degree in Pharmacy. Jimmy worked at many places as a pharmacist throughout his career and was currently working at Solomon Drug in Eutaw.

Many people knew and remember his parents James and Sarah Tuck with their ties to the old Greyhound Bus Stop in Eutaw and many remember seeing Jimmy at the bus stop as well.

Jimmy will be missed by his cousins, friends and countless others who knew him as a kind, generous and caring person. Graveside services were held Monday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw with the Reverend Rick Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Merchants and Farmers Bank of Greene County in James’ memory or to the James E. Tuck Memorial Scholarship Fund for Pharmacy students at Auburn University.
